The Carrera RS 2.7 has become an espresso machine
Some of us spend the winter saving up for parts. Others can now spend it on coffee. Porsche and La Marzocco, the Florentine espresso machine maker founded in 1927, have presented a second joint collection, this time inspired by the 911 Carrera RS 2.7.
What you get
- A limited Linea Micra espresso machine: €5,790.
- A matching Pico grinder: €1,550.
- Grand Prix White with green and Tangerine with black, 911 units of each. Each carries a "One of 911" plaque.
- A Grand Prix White with blue version for Germany only, limited to 150 units.
- Cups, towels, coasters, canisters, clothing and 1:18 model cars.
Where
It went on sale on 30 October at porsche.com, select Porsche Centers and select Porsche Design Stores.
The original
Porsche presented the Carrera RS 2.7 in 1972 as a homologation car for motorsport, limited to 500 units. Fifty-four years later it's still selling things. Not bad for a car with a ducktail.
